Abstract: A presentation on how machine-learning based classifiers are leveraged to facilitate efficient transfer of digital collections to The National Archives whilst mitigating risk.
Bio: Mahin Ali is a data scientist at SVGC Ltd. Mahin has a background in digital transformation projects across central government and has been involved in delivering AI and data solutions for Digital Sensitivity Review to central government clients since 2022. He is experienced in research, analysis and deployment of AI products to provide efficiency in navigating digital archives to enable higher velocities of transfer of records to The National Archives, allowing for government records to be made available to the public faster, and at a better value to the tax-payer.
