LUSTRE Workshop 4: The Future of AI To Unlock Digital Records

We are thrilled to invite you to “The Future of AI To Unlock Digital Records” a forward-thinking conference poised to explore the emerging trends, challenges, and transformative innovations shaping the future of AI in the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) sector. Set against the backdrop of unprecedented technological advancement with AI, this conference aims to spark dialogue, foster collaboration, and inspire action among professionals, and researchers in the field.

Featuring speakers from the UK Cabinet Office, the National Archives and Universities from Europe and the USA, this event will conclude the LUSTRE project, which aims to find solutions to the problem of inaccessible digital records. Now that AI has become a buzz word, what comes next? How can museums and archives use these computational tools for improving discovery and access to collections? And how can the GLAM sector mitigate the risks associated with AI?
